Comic Life packs a lot of 'Brawn'! |
Cranium Comics has recently launched their first four color comic, Brawn #1.
"I used Comic Life on my Mac exclusively to lay out the storyboards, then later when I created and colored all 24 pages of the issue," recounted Anthony Rezendes, the owner of Cranium Comics and co-creator of Brawn.
The comic 'Brawn' focuses on a dockworker named Sam Ross who was reborn as the hero "Brawn" after he was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident.
"Being an illustrator, it saved me quite a bit of time from having to lay all the text bubbles out manually. It made the process of actually creating the comic that much more enjoyable," Mr. Rezendes added.

An update for Comic Life for Windows is now out!
This 1.3.5 update changes where default temp files are saved, to reflect the recommended guidelines; resolving some issues affecting some schools. This update also includes several other fixes.

Comic Life 1.3.3 unleashed! |
It seems like only yesterday that 1.3.2 was the newest and cutest, but today all that changes as plasq unleashes the latest and greatest 1.3.3 update of Comic Life.
1.3.3 improves Comic Life performance, including enhanced memory management when printing or exporting large comics, final output with improved image export quality and removal of the anti-aliasing that appeared around the edges of some objects. These changes and more.

You know those Diet Coke and Mentos videos - where a Mentos placed inside a Diet Coke causes a massive "Mentos eruption"? It turns out that the people behind Eepybird.com and the classic "Experiment #137" as seen on The Late Show with David Letterman, now have a new way to document their fun - Comic Life! They "Love it so much in fact," Stephen Voltz (the tall one) told us, that they created a blog as a comic on their website which "tells the tale of my trip to Google world headquarters". Comic Life 1.3 - Lets you add even more spin! |
plasq proudly announces the 1.3 update for Comic Life; enabling multiple pictures-per-panel and the rotation of panels and captions. Make your world rotate around you!
Another much-requested feature now included is multi-tailed speech balloons! Email your comics with ease - with a new 'Email this Comic' button, or use the new iWeb integration to share with the world.
There's also a bunch of other improvements including a new visual style menu, Auto-updates, copy-and-paste to other applications, and various reliability improvements.
