DJ David 'comicfies' site! |
DJ David Chong has recently launched his new website . He has used Comic Life to create many different graphical elements; the panels, lettering, effects to the images and captions resulting in a cool and unique site! DJ David Chong had this to say, "... Comic Life kicks a**, it's the 1st time since my old Amiga 500 (when I was 13) that I have used graphic software and I'm amazed by the result that a newbie like me can get. I was looking for someone to make my web site, but after messing around for fun with Comic Life that came with my MacBook Pro, I decided that it was not necessary and that I would do it with Comic Life. So as we say in French "bravo les gars" and Thank YOU". Thanks DJ David Chong, it is a great example of all the different uses Comic Life has! We enjoy hearing about new and exciting ways for which Comic Life is being used - what have you used Comic Life for?
Please leave a comment - we would love to hear from you.

The Amateur Gourmet caused quite a wave with his comic blog post about a Truffle tasting feast. This inspired others to do their own Comic blog posts, including Guy Kawasaki. He created his own Comic Life comic about his recent trip to Phoenix, Arizona.

G.EEK HAPPENS: a new comic strip! |
|
Launched just over 6 weeks ago, "G.EEK HAPPENS" is a fantastic new web comic that follows the adventures of George Eek and Peter Ebkac. One is a Geek; the other is a PEBKAC. The site currently has English, German, Italian and Russian translations. One of the exciting things - from our perspective - is that they are using Comic Life to put it all together. Ben Fox, the creator and lead writer of "G.EEK HAPPENS" says this about our beloved software, "I would not know what to do without Comic Life. With any other tool it would take me ages to finish the multiple language versions." Thanks Ben! - everyone should go take a look ... really :)

Creativity spirits abound! |
|
Happy All-hallow-even! It is that time of year again when the creativity spirits come in contact with our loyal Comic Life users and spew forth mountains of creative content!
Dooberman has created a comic titled, "Dr. Pumpkinstein" which details how to bring life to a certain famous-on-this-day vegetable, while Arun tells a tale of Halloween-woe for all children.
And last (but definitely not least) in The Ordinary Adventures for Tomas - the imaginary friend who doesn't have any friends - Tomas has decided what to dress-up as in "Tomas Celebrates Halloween". Trick or Treat!
