The Amateur Gourmet caused quite a wave with his comic blog post about a Truffle tasting feast. This inspired others to do their own Comic blog posts, including Guy Kawasaki. He created his own Comic Life comic about his recent trip to Phoenix, Arizona.

G.EEK HAPPENS: a new comic strip! |
|
Launched just over 6 weeks ago, "G.EEK HAPPENS" is a fantastic new web comic that follows the adventures of George Eek and Peter Ebkac. One is a Geek; the other is a PEBKAC. The site currently has English, German, Italian and Russian translations. One of the exciting things - from our perspective - is that they are using Comic Life to put it all together. Ben Fox, the creator and lead writer of "G.EEK HAPPENS" says this about our beloved software, "I would not know what to do without Comic Life. With any other tool it would take me ages to finish the multiple language versions." Thanks Ben! - everyone should go take a look ... really :)

Creativity spirits abound! |
|
Happy All-hallow-even! It is that time of year again when the creativity spirits come in contact with our loyal Comic Life users and spew forth mountains of creative content!
Dooberman has created a comic titled, "Dr. Pumpkinstein" which details how to bring life to a certain famous-on-this-day vegetable, while Arun tells a tale of Halloween-woe for all children.
And last (but definitely not least) in The Ordinary Adventures for Tomas - the imaginary friend who doesn't have any friends - Tomas has decided what to dress-up as in "Tomas Celebrates Halloween". Trick or Treat!

Cat sniffs new box - detects no catnip |
|
Comic Life Deluxe (boxed edition) now comes in an even nicer box - you may have already seen it on a computer store shelf near you. The new box has a little pop-up fun, as well as extra space to show-off some uses, styles, and plasq's friends and family! As you can see from this blog cats like Comic Life too ... especially if they are on the box! You can grab Comic Life Deluxe (in a box) for USD$29.95 (or equivalent local currency) from Apple stores, Freeverse and at any good computer store (... I've always wanted to say that!)
