Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Comic Touch PAQ

(Pre-emptively Answered Questions)

Q. I would like Balloons to have tails on the right/mirror imaged.
A. Press and hold the tail of a balloon and move it into any position you like - 360 degree tail fun!

Q. How do I delete balloons/captions?
A. You may delete balloons/captions by pressing and holding for a couple of seconds. The balloons/captions will start to wiggle and you then delete by tapping the "X". Tap somewhere other than an "X" to get out of the Delete mode. Hope that helps!

Q.
How do I access my Contacts list when sending email?
A. Tap the "blue plus sign" to the right of the TO: part of the email page.

Q.
How do I change the default text in the balloons and captions?
A. Double tap the balloon or caption to enter Details Text mode. Here you can enter the text you would like and then click 'Done' once you are finished.

Q.
How can I re-center my image again?
A. Double tap on the image to re-center it and zoom to fit - double tap again to zoom to fill.

Q. I just purchased Comic Touch on my iPhone/iPod Touch, but it doesn't sync back to my computer and therfore does not appear in iTunes!
A. In iTunes, under the File menu, you may select "Transfer Purchases from iPhone/iPod" - and this should fix things. Also, you may go to the Apple App store and download Comic Touch from the store again for free.

Q. Some email addresses and web services I send an email too using Comic Touch never arrive. What can I do?
A. Unfortunately, in some cases you will have to use this work-around: First save the comic into Photos (the Middle/Sharing icon) and then email it using your 'Photos' app on your device.

Q. (Mac users only) A particular address in my Contact list is crashing Comic Touch. Help!
A. This can usually be fixed by copying the offending contact (the contact is the listing in the middle column, which is titled 'Name') in the Address Book application (command+c then command+v) on your Mac, then deleting the old one (look at the updated tag in the bottom right of the contact card to locate the oldest) and re-syncing your device.

Q.
I am getting a black screen when I try to launch Comic Touch
A.

1. Delete Comic Touch from your iPhone/iPod Touch: Using the iPhone Touch please press and hold the Comic Touch icon until all the application icons begin to wobble. Then press the black “X” in the upper left corner of the Comic Touch icon.

2. Restart your iPhone/iPod Touch: Hold down the sleep/wake button on the top of of your device for a few seconds. A red slider will be displayed allowing you to 'power off' the device. Press the sleep/wake button again to restart the device.

3. Sync your iPhone/iPod Touch: Connect your device to your computer again and let it sync a couple of times. Make sure that iTunes has copied Comic Touch to your iPhone/iPod Touch again.

4. Restart your iPhone/iPod Touch again (as in step 3).

Following the above steps should resolve any issues that you are experiencing.
