Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

version 1.4.1 PDF export does not work - 2008/01/22 22:09 When I want to save my comic as a PDF file, it only creates a 4 kb file with 4 empty pages. Can anyone help me as I'm trying to print a birth card for my new born son!

Thanks

Re:version 1.4.1 PDF export does not wor - 2008/01/22 22:17 I just noticed the earlier message with the same subject. However, printing 1 at a time does not work. I'll keep checking the forum

Re:version 1.4.1 PDF export does not wor - 2008/01/28 17:10 Are you exporting via the :

File > Export > Export Fixed-Resolution PDF File menu?

or

File > Print... > PDF > Save as PDF... ?

Could you please try both and please let me know how it goes?

I'm a new user. I have the last version of comics life deluxe and my computer is a Powermac G5 2,5 dual powerpc, 8 GB RAM.

the first choice doesn't work:

File > Export > Export Fixed-Resolution PDF File menu?

I only have a blank pdf document with the export.

On the contrary, this is fine:

File > Print... > PDF > Save as PDF

Re:version 1.4.1 PDF export does not wor - 2008/02/22 02:21 Is there an answer to this yet? I can print to pdf just fine, but cannot use the export feature either. Exporting to a pdf yields a blank 4K file. I'm using )S 10.4.11 with all the latest updates.

Re:version 1.4.1 PDF export does not wor - 2008/03/03 15:56 Greetings,

Hope we can get this resolved big time. Was able to print a comic with Ka-Blam using tiff files.

Recently received 7 proof copies of my comic from comixpress. They take pdf files. With the previous version of Comic Life, I was able to export my entire comic as a pdf file; resolution set to 300 dpi and everything. My proof copies came back awesome.

...not so when you choose print, then save as a pdf. The size is wrong; the bottom gets cut off. I've played around with the the settings in acrobat and I still can't get it to work.

Please get the export pdf feature working.

Thanks,

Very happy with Comic Life!
