Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

KeynoteKen You can already do this effect IN Comic Life Magiq! (the robot reaching out of the panel) Looks quite nice, too.

Mish Love the product. I think the above/below mentioned templates, trading cards, special occasions would be helpful. I think it would be even more helpful if you added more pix to the spray and the stamp features (the icon that looks like a disguise), or allow the use of all of them when you start with a blank comic, so we could have more flexibility when creating our own templates.

I like the idea of map symbols and other educational stamps as I am a teacher.
urbazewski More holidays, Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Solstice, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Arbor Day and also food/kitchen for recipes.
Kaijuman Ok, after that long winded post I just made, something quite simple occurred to me today that would be brilliant for CL-M.

A Calendar template.

I just realized that in all the software I have for my mac, nothing has a basic Calendar template.

Just a thought today.
Kaijuman I'd like to make a suggestion... although this might be rather complicated, and I don't know if it can be done.

I'm constructing comic life for my own web comic, (which I want to publish into a book next year) so my question pertains to drawings.

Is there a way that part of a drawing can be isolated to overlap the box.

I've seen some comics where... let's say for example, a character is jumping. The back ground is all with in the frame, but the characters feet or arms exits the box.

This is the best example I can find...

Note the robots arm overlaping.

Again, I'm not sure this is something that can be done or not. Perhaps a 'masking' feature

Something else would be a way that an arrow from a speech bubble could go behind a certain part of the image.

Just some thoughts as I've used the program.
KeynoteKen One that has a map and weather symbols so kids could create their own weather maps for science class!
