Not that long ago, in a galaxy not that far away, we released an update to Pharos IV: Assault!
This 1.1 updates unleashes computer assisted torpedo targeting for greater accuracy, resumption from highest level attained - no more starting over from level 1 - and fixed the stutter issue that affected iPhone 3.0 users.
Update is for both iPhone/iPod Touch and Pharos IV: Assault and Pharos IV: Assault Lite versions.
This latest update for Comic Touch (1.2.2) (direct link to App Store) addresses several issues that popped up with the release of the latest iPhone 3.0 update.

Please update from within iTunes or using your iPhone/iPod Touch device.

Hello there Elmagico,
This issue seems to be caused by some error in the computers registry.
A user of ours reported, "I finally got it fixed! Turns out that cleaning my registry somehow fixed the lettering problem - now I can use ALL the features of this fantastic program - including lettering!
The lettering function does not work for me. I click on lettering in the window, drag it to a panel and drop. Nothing.
I've tried every way I can think of to make the lettering work, everything else works, balloons, text boxes, etc. But when I try to use lettering, nothing happens.

Weird, we have the same name, anyways, I did this at school and to make it go faster I just e-mailed it to myself, then it converts to a .JPEG and it makes the printing much faster! Please reply if this was helpful!

Hello there Doug,
Thanks for the posting.
We are still looking for someone to work with us to try to find out what is causing the problem.
Have you experienced this problem yourself?
We would love to work with you to try to resolve the problems.
We have tried with our local networks here, and yet we have not been able to reproduce the non-printing or the 30 minute long prints.
Any help/experience you can bring, we would love to work with you on this problem.
If you are interested, please contact us using the contact form and we'll get back to you.
Thanks.
Doug
Comic Life is a great program which I would love to use but the printing (or non printing) problem is a BIG issue which makes the program unusable.
I do not know why printing is a problem; it is not something encountered in other programs. However it needs to be sorted out as a priority and I am sure the developers are looking at this.
The idea that it may be connected to small memory in printers is ridiculous ... you should assume the printer has NO MEMORY and use memory in the computer.
There is a huge market in the education sector which is crying out for a brilliant creative program such as Comic Life. I have already demonstrated it to schools in the UK but no school will buy it while these printing problems persist.

Hello there Mike,
I am sorry you are having problems installing Comic Life.
Could you please try this on your computer?
type "regsvr32 VBScript" in the Run Dialog (Start -> Run)
...then try the installer again.
Or go to the command prompt (right click “run as administrator”) and type "regsvr32 VBScript"
