Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Kramy Hi there Robert,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Unfortunately, we do not have a solution as yet - but as you have the .pdf you should be able to open that up in Preview and then Save As a TIFF at 300 dpi.

Hope that helps!
Robert Muraskin Hi there--

I'm having the same problem. Have a large page (2400 x 3500) that i've been trying to export, and I can successfully export a fixed-resolution .pdf at 150 dpi, but when I attempt at 300 dpi, only a blank document is generated.

Ditto for exporting as an image (I tried .png and .tiff then gave up).

The only success I have had is printing as a .pdf file, which seems to work.

I am running Comic Life 1.4.1 on a 2.2 mhz macbook pro with 4 gb ram.

Thanks,

Rob
Kramy Hi there BrainUser and Joe,

Could you please make sure you are using 1.4.1 (free update) you may download from here : http://plasq.com/downloads/

If that still doesn't work, could you please try exporting at 72 dpi, just to make sure that works.

Please let me know how you go,

Mark | plasq
BrainUser I am having the same problem. I have tried to export to TIFF, fixed PDF - but all result in a crash. I assume it is a memory problem, but I have 2 Gb. Help.
Joe I'm trying to export a large comic to jpg format but the program crashes every time. My comic page size is 1440x1800 pixel. I'm trying to use 300 dpi so I can print out to a big paper. I'm using MacBook Pro. The OS is version 10.4.11 with 2.1 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM. I just upgraded RAM and the activity monitor didn't show the it ran out of memory. However, the program took more than 1 GB of RAM.

Please help.

Joe
