Skitch leaves plasq
The great screen capture, annotation and sharing service has all grownup, left the plasq stables and become its own fully fledged company.

For users this change will not affect you in any noticeable way - skitch.com is still the main home and some of the same people are working on it but you'll be seeing big things coming soon!

Comic Life 1.5.2 for Mac is out!
Comic Life for Mac 1.5.2 update is now available for download.

This latest free update restores OS X 10.4 Tiger compatibility that broke with the recently released 1.5.1 update.

This update contains fixes from the previously released 1.5.1, which included several Snow Leopard compatibility fixes and a couple of other minor improvements.

As always, this update is also for the Deluxe version.

A Comic Life Magiq for Mac 1.1 update has now been released.

This free 1.1 upate adds the much-requested ability to import Comic Life .comicdoc files.

Carol My 7th grade tech class is using ComicLife to create a series of slides simulating an explorer interview. Research in history class, write script in English class and create slides in tech class. We are using Pages to Instant Alpha out backgrounds of student and explorer pics, copy to CL and then insert appropriate background settings for the "interview". Very fun.
Kate B I am a 6th grade science teacher and started using the online teacher community Applebatch.com this school year. It has been really helpful for me to find creative ideas and lesson plans for my class. I recommend it - it's completely free!
