How to increase margin space and center? - 2009/08/18 01:33 Friendly greetings!

I'm looking for a way to increase the white space (margin) around my Comic Life file without having to resize all the panels and elements. The reason is because I'm printing to PDF, but when I do, there's no visible margin at all when I'm browsing the resulting PDF file.

I've tried File menu > Page Format and increased the Margins, but that of course keeps the page dimensions the same and reduces the visible area.

Then, I tried increasing the Page Format size, but that leaves all my panels off-centered so I have to drag them back again. (This gets tedious over numerous pages.)

Do you have recommendations for how I can best give more "space" around my comic without having to tweak a lot of formatting?

Thanks very much in advance!

Re:How to increase margin space and center? - 2009/08/18 01:36 I should also note I tried right-clicking and Align > Middle or Center but that squashes all the elements together.

Re:How to increase margin space and center? - 2009/08/31 15:19 Hi Torley,

Any reason you need a PDF?

I think you are going to have to first export our as an image - File > Export > Export to Image(s)... - and then print the exported image and turn it into a PDF again.

If you have more than one image you want in a PDF, bring them back into Comic Life, make the margins 0 and stretch the image so it fills the page and Print again and Save as PDF.
(Unfortunately this way you will probably notice a reduction in quality - export at 300 dpi).

Sorry, can't be of anymore assistance.
