 Printing trouble - black boxes - 2009/07/27 04:24 Hi,

Unfortunately I have a big problem printing comics (comic life win deluxe 1.3.6)

Some panels come out black, though they are using the same style as others on the same page that are printed fine.

Style: modification of graphite style
WIN XP SP3, printers: Monochrome-Laser Lexmark E330 and HP deskjet 990cxi

Used both in a virtual machine on Virtualbox on Linux-Host printing via CUPS as well as on native
XP printing via USB.

The weird thing: on a page with 4 panels 1-2 come out black - but not always the same.
Still: the comic is useless and an expensive waste of ink/paper/toner.

any hint is greatly appreciated.

Does your comic have shadows on all the panels and balloons?

If so, please try removing all the shadows and see if that helps.
