Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 Resizing Panels independently of images - 2008/09/21 15:48 I just upgraded to Magiq, seems like there are some very cool new features. Except...

I can't find a way to resize a panel without it also resizing the image that's already within the panel (and maintaining the same proportions).

This utterly cripples me. It destroys the way I work in this application, the ability to crop images on the fly. I find myself having to move images out of a panel, so I can resize the panel, then moving the image back into the panel. If there's no way to resize a panel without it also proportionally resizing the image within it, I fear I'm going to have to revert to the old version.

Am I missing something?

 Re:Resizing Panels independently of imag - 2008/09/22 00:58 Hold down the "Command" key while resizing a panel. Then you'll be able to use a Panel as a "Crop" tool then.

You could also use the "Crop" tool in the Magiq interface. Click the icon to the upper right of the image that looks like a Palette, then click the "Colors" tab, and finally the "Crop" circle.
