This 1.1 updates unleashes computer assisted torpedo targeting for greater accuracy, resumption from highest level attained - no more starting over from level 1 - and fixed the stutter issue that affected iPhone 3.0 users.
Update is for both iPhone/iPod Touch and Pharos IV: Assault and Pharos IV: Assault Lite versions.
This latest update for Comic Touch (1.2.2) (direct link to App Store) addresses several issues that popped up with the release of the latest iPhone 3.0 update.

Please update from within iTunes or using your iPhone/iPod Touch device.
New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/16 11:29Hello All,
Just purchased Comic Life for Windows Deluxe after trying it out for a few hours. Prior to that I was using Comic Book Creator, and I have to say CL blows it away, without question.
But, it could be much easier to use.
I'd like to see the following enhancements/bug fixes:
- Have text flow and wrap better in speech/thought ballons. Currently the text crowds the edges, and often will display differently when you export. placing some extra CRs as the PAQ suggests, doesn't work well, somtimes making matters worse, and isn't a valid workaround.
- The application should remember export options with the saved comic file. It's annoying to have to set all the options each time you're exporting.
- Add the ability to set the exported image size when exporting.
- Remember text and lettering font selections within the same comic. So if I close CL and come back to it later, I don't have to set the font all over again for things I've already used. The same would go with the last speech balloon style used, etc.
- Automatic page numbering. Maybe this is already there and I haven't found it yet. But basically allow a Master template so the author can set header and footer options (page numbers, comic book titles, copyright notices, etc) so they appear on all pages.
- When exporting, it's asking for a filename, but it's really asking for a folder name. And if the folder/files already exist, you're not prompted to overwrite anything, the existing stuff just gets blown away, and nothing gets exported. You have to export again (and set all the options again), to get the exported output.
That's all for now, but overall I REALLY like the program!
Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/17 01:05Ok, I found the page numbering, but it has to be applied to each individual page. Not sure why you'd want that. I think it would be much better if such properties were set on a document or project level instead of the page level.
Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/17 02:52Something else I should have mentioned with regard to exporting. The export path needs to be remembered for the current document.
And I tried exporting selected pages to an existing folder, but the entire folder got blown away. This is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

Hi Steel Rat,
That should not be happening - as it simply creates a folder within the same folder of the same name.
So for example, the first folder was called "Onion" when you try to 'Save' "Onion" again it automatically jumps to the "Onion" folder, and then on the next 'Save' press, it creates another "Onion" folder.
Could you please check inside the folder that you exported too using Comic Life and see if you can see that second folder please?
Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/17 14:06I've verified the problem numerous times. We're not talking about saving but exporting as a JPG. it happens whether I'm trying to export all pages or just one.
Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/17 14:17Yes, I was also talking about File > Export > Export to Image(s) - and definitely can't repro And we have not heard any other reports from other people about this issue. Very odd
What version of Windows are you using?
Also, please make sure you are using Comic Life version 1.3.6 - you can check in the Help > About Comic Life menu.
