Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/18 10:41 I'm using version 1.3.6 Deluxe.

OS is Vista Home Premium 64 bit. I can reproduce if every single time.

As I mentioned before, when exporting it says it's asking for the filename, but that name actually ends up as a folder name, and the files end up as Page_xx.jpg, regardless of what I tell it as a filename.

Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/20 04:23 Ok, so more than half my points are covered in things I wasn't familiar with. Thanks to CL support!

The biggest problem I'm still encountering is the export issue where previous exported images in the same folder are destroyed, and the application asking for a filename when it really means a folder name.

Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/20 12:41 Just so we have exact step that you are taking... a JPG file format at what dpi?? I just tried on my Windows Vista and still couldn't repro

"and the application asking for a filename when it really means a folder name."

It doesn't ask for a filename. It asks for a "Name" to "Save in:"

Please see above to see what happens. If your screen is different than above - could you please take some screenshots and either post them here or contact us using the contact form - http://plasq.com/contact/ - where we can send you an email address to send them too.

Also a video screencast - if you are able to do one of those - showing that it is overwriting the folder, by creating a simple document with "1" on it, exporting the folder, changing the number to "2" exporting to the same folder and then opening up the exported file in that first folder (it should say "2" if it overwites it) so we have something to send to the developer team.

Thanks for your patience.

Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/20 14:01 Ok, I'm attaching a screenshot, which shows an existing export folder. You'll notice that the name in the box has a .jpg extension, different from your screenshot, next to your yelow name box.

The jpg DPI is 150, and 100 percent quality.

Re:New to CL, some thoughts - 2009/01/20 14:09 Well, crap the screenshot is too large and making it small enough would make it hard to read.
So I've uploaded it to an FTP of mine..

If I hit save as you see the image above, the "Jenny" folder and everything in it is deleted and nothing is exported. I have to export again, with the exact same settings and then everything exports.

And here's what that next export screen looks like (we're at the same folder level as before, as you can see at the top in the "Save In" field in both pics.
