Skitch leaves plasq
The great screen capture, annotation and sharing service has all grownup, left the plasq stables and become its own fully fledged company.

For users this change will not affect you in any noticeable way - skitch.com is still the main home and some of the same people are working on it but you'll be seeing big things coming soon!

If you have not tried out Skitch yet - give it a go... You're missing out!

Arrows and other symbols - 2009/01/20 04:25 I read in the PAQ that in the Mac version there are system fonts that will give you arrows and other symbols. Is this equivalent to Wingdings, Webdings, and other symbol fonts in Windows? Or is there an actual library of other objects (besides speech and thought balloons) available?

Thanks!

Re:Arrows and other symbols - 2009/05/26 13:23 Is this equivalent to Wingdings, Webdings, and other symbol fonts in Windows?

That is correct. You can do a similar thing as the Mac version with Windows using the Character Map...

Select Programs » Accessories » System Tools » Character Map. (see: http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/international/accents/ charmap.html - for more info)

Then use a font like Wingdings ... and choose an Arrow. Press Select. The Copy.

Now switch back to Comic Life, drop in a caption. Paste in your Arrow. Go to Details and uncheck Fill and Frame. Then increase the size of the font to increase the size of the Arrow.
