A Comic Life Magiq for Mac 1.1 update has now been released.

This free 1.1 upate adds the much-requested ability to import Comic Life .comicdoc files.

 Comic Life MagiQ for Primary School - 2009/03/02 21:49 I'm looking to purchase either Comic Life or Comic Life MagiQ for my Primary School (ages 5 - 11yr). Having played with both, using the free 30 day trial (thank you), I want the extra functionality of MagiQ for the older kids but also want the simpler screen layout of Comic Life for the younger children.

My question is, can the 'screen layout' of MagiQ be altered to make MagiQ look as simple as Comic Life? I'm happy that this would likely mean less functionality when set up this way, but it would suit the gradual introduction of this very good software.

Sorry for the massive delay!

Comic Life Magiq interface cannot be altered to make it look like Comic Life. The only way to make it appear less daunting would be to get the students to hide the "Details" section when first launching the application.
