Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Wow - great comic. The Titling is great. I noticed a couple of balloons where the text got clipped - is that in the original comic or is it an export bug?

Thanks! Having a cute girlfriend helps.

The text clipping in the last two panels is intentional; I wanted it to look like I'm running on and on endlessly. I set the balloon text padding to 0,0 and squished it down around the text, then shoved it off the edge of the panel for that hilarious (or perhaps not-so-hilarious) effect.

But there are some odd behaviors in balloons. They don't always respect the padding I've set, so text sometimes encroaches on the edge of a balloon. Can you help with that?

 Re:Your comics - 2005/04/26 01:39 Today was the first time I've tried to open anybody's comic using a PC (I'm at work). When I click on Adam's thumbnail, I get an Error on Page message. It won't open.

Using Explorer 5.

Yeah - we're getting bitten by the IE backward-compatibility issue. The comic launchers work fine on any modern browser (Safari, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera?, Konqueror, etc) but unfortunately not IE. We're working on it at this moment trying to figure out the best compromise that keeps the front page looking nice and also working on IE.

Makes me appreciate my beloved iMac all the more!
