Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Updates are free for all registered users.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Another Comic Life Windows beta is upon us...

Please welcome: Comic Life Windows beta 4!

Please UNINSTALL your old version of Comic Life BEFORE INSTALLING the b4 version.

A new beta serial is below for use during this beta

Remember it is still a beta. So remember anything can still go wrong! We do try our best to make it as reliable as possible - but as it is a beta, we do ask that you are cautious and don't recommend using it for time-critical work in case anything goes awry.

If you come across any bugs, please report them to us using this thread.

Release notes for 1.3.4 (55):

  • New 96 dpi option in "Export to Image(s)" dialogue - recommended over 72dpi for better output quality

  • Added more checking for duplicate elements

  • The balloon line spacing has been increased

  • Fixed problem where the movie export delay time was incorrect

  • When changing styles, the latest chosen style is now reflected in the Style menu

  • Added a tweak to text width computations to fix small page numbers not drawing

  • Error code displayed when failing to copy files

  • Fixed a missing UTF8 conversion for font names

  • Fixed several memory leaks - particularly with regard to Quick Comic

  • No longer allows the 'Fonts' and 'Colors' to be clickable for elements where those pickers do not apply

I run a webcomic that I updat 3 times a week and I cant wait ti use this prog for it. I usualy make the panels in Poser and then post work the images , add balloons and stuff in adobe photoshop. Now with this Plasq, less work.

    We will look at getting that fixed in a latter update. It is planned.

    When you open more than one Comic Life file and then close one of the open files, the program reports an error and closes. I can't find the error file though, sorry.
