Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 1.4.1 - Still can't use iPhoto Events ?? - 2008/01/26 05:10 I launched Comic Life for the first time today. Got the upgrade message. Did that. Tried creating a test comic. 1st pic added OK, 2nd one didn't. The first I added using 'iPhoto - Photo'. The second I added using 'iPhoto - Event'.
From reading the release notes, it appears that this is the exact problem 1.4.1 is supposed to fix.
I have just confirmed I am running version is 1.4.1 v8582, and that iPhoto is not 'managing' my pictures.

It seems the update fixed the issue with "Copy items to the iPhoto Library" unchecked for the normal library (iPhoto - Photo) - but not the Events library.

We have ticketed the bug and will get it fixed for the next release.

The work-around is to select your images from the iPhoto - Photo library like you discovered worked.
