This latest free update restores OS X 10.4 Tiger compatibility that broke with the recently released 1.5.1 update.
This update contains fixes from the previously released 1.5.1, which included several Snow Leopard compatibility fixes and a couple of other minor improvements.
As always, this update is also for the Deluxe version.
Please update from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

This is not the main reason you purchased the app.. if that were so, you would have purchased an email client. What you purchased is an application to make humorous comics, which it does very nicely.
That is like me saying I purchased a new car because it had a cup holder.
Have you added it to your "Add Favorite Email Account" or are you just emailing using the "Email Comic..." button?
I can get it to work fine using "Email Comic..." - could you please try that?
Thanks for your patience!

Hi,
I have tried in vain to send a comic picture to my flickr eMail-upload address.
However, each attempt was interrupted with the error message "invalid checksum".
Since this is an important function for me, I would appreciate all and any help.
Thanks;
Kenny

I would try a service like MessageDance.com, but if you read the fine print they own all usage rights to your photos that passes through their system. The same may be true for ComicTouch though, otherwise why are they sending their photos through their e-mail gateway, instead of letting the phone use it's e-mail account?

Comic Touch uses an email gateway to send your email because Apple does not allow applications to send attachments via their Mail app. Once Apple allows this - we will definitely change to this method. You definitely retain ownership/rights of the comic you have produced and emailed. We do not store any copies on our servers for later use.
