estherau Hi, that looks great!

What method did you use for tooning in Daz Studio.

I've been using olivier's art materials with shaderworks from within poser.

Love esther
CC Rogers
CC Rogers Today I received my author copies of a comic that I illustrated using DAZ Studio and Comic Life.

It's slowly sinking in that I've been published! Yes, LBR Press is a very small publisher, but it is a publisher nonetheless.

The comic is called Sign of the Bloodletters and was written by Diana Laurence. It's a stand-alone short story set in the world of Diana's popular Bloodchained novel.

If you're interested, you can read the whole thing free online. You can also buy a printed copy on Amazon.com, BN.com, or the LBR Press online store.

Diana is currently running a contest where she's giving away a free copy of Sign of the Bloodletters. Here's the description from her newsletter:

SIGN OF THE BLOODLETTERS CONTEST

I'm just dying to hear feedback from readers about a romance comic book. It doesn't happen every day, and I'd love to know what you think! I'm giving away a free print copy of the comic book, and to enter the drawing to win it, I’m asking readers to email me their thoughts after reading Sign of the Bloodletters. Email me at dianalaurence@wi.rr.com before midnight on Saturday, Feb. 13 to enter. Thanks for your feedback!

The printed copy turned out beautifully. The pictures are a little darker than I expected (most of the book takes place inside a tavern at night) so I think if I get a chance to do another one I'll lighten up the images before I send them to the publisher.

Here's the book (yes, that's my hand):
