Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

VanGilles Hi,

A search function for browsing song would be nice. I am in a band were we don't use a default set-list but play a random song. By fast searching a song by a stroke on the keyboard speeds up the proces and makes less frustration when other members are already playing while your still searching for the particular song...

nice product anyhow...
ACT Hello,

This new rax is very cool with lot of important new features, but what I am waiting for since RAX 1 is the possibility to CREATE MULTIPLE OUTPUTS !

Do you plan to make one of these day this feature ?

Thanks a lot
Kramy Hi there Will,

Thanks for the kind words!

Also, thanks for the feedback. We can see how a metronome feature could be handy, but at this stage have no timeline to integrate that feature. My best suggestion is to have a look around at one of the many nice little free metronome applications you can find on sites like macupdate.com

Many are free - hopefully you should find something you like.

Hope that helps.

Will I have a simple wish for Rax, which may mean it might actually happen soon!

It would be great for Rax to be able to generate a click to use as a click track when recording or practicing, etc.. Just a simple click at the set tempo. No need for time signatures or accented/unaccented, etc. Just click. With a button (maybe up by the Tempo) to turn it on or off. A bonus would be to be able to have the click be a midi output that you could assign a route/channel/note/velocity to. That would do it!

Right now I'm looking at making a really long midi file with a bunch of quarter notes, but that's kind of messy.

Love Rax! I'm using it to host Drumkit From Hell Superior for my eDrums. Rocks!
Dr. Maybe What Mark said!

Just emailed plasq w/ this request... the ability to slave outboard boxes to Rax midi sync would make this the perfect software for my needs (playing backing tracks for my band).

As a guitarist using tempo-sensitive effects (like Adrenalinn), that would make everything nice, tight, and easy...
Mark It would be great if Rax could send MIDI signals out to hardware synths modules. I use both software and hardware synths and when using Rax I need to use a little program like Midipipe or MIDI Patchbay to get the signals where I want them. It would be wonderful to unify this within Rax.

Please keep polishing this gem of a program.

thanks
