We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.
It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.
Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...
This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.
If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".
Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.
Comic Life is great for sharing those funny little moments from school, in the office, or while on worldwide progressive-rock-legends tours.
Robert Fripp and Tony Levin have been sharing the day-to-day stories of touring within one of the most influential prog rock bands - on King Crimson’s 40th Anniversary Tour.
Ever wished you had the fun of Comic Life handy at all times? Ever been out at a party, family gathering or on public transport and wished you could add your 'comic touch' to a photo? Now you can!
We're giggling with glee to announce Comic Touch for iPhone and iPod Touch. Add various speech balloons and captions to your photos. Choose a fun special effect to warp and bend your family and friends, then email the results to them!
Have a read of the above thread - you might find it useful.
"The solution to all my problems seems to be the keywords.
It seems that the pictures that I was importing into iPhoto that already had keywords (in my case, my sister in law edits everything in windows photoshop album, sends me the pictures, and after I import them, I somehow generate all kinds of new keywords in iPhoto such as: printed, edited, saved, kids 3rd bday party etc.
Before I started figuring this thing out, I had no idea that some of the images
I had in my library had been imported with keywords.
The fix:
I went to the iPhoto preferences menu, changed the keyword match from all to any, deleted any keyword that wasn't **favorite, family, kids, vacation, birthday ** these are the default iPhoto keywords, but you can delete them all.
I then dragged all my photos into the reset tab/button while the keyword menu was expanded (that's the little key icon on the bottom left of iPhoto)
This will strip any keywords assigned to images - handy during a new import.
So far, I have been able to import my entire library, including the PSD and GIF files, and have complete use of the media browser with the other iLife apps." by MTR300
I would only try this solution, if only other iLife apps are not picking up the iPhoto library.
Please remember to make sure you make a backup of your pictures directory. I would hate for anyone to loose all their images.
Hope this helps.
Kramy.

Comic Life cannot find your iPhoto Library.
Perhaps you are not using iPhoto or your iPhoto Preferences are out of date?

I am running on an iMac with iPhoto up and running but ComicLife is just not accessing my iPhoto successfully at all. Nowhere in help does it say anything about this or how to fix it. I have turned on sharing in iPhoto. Mac OS is 10.3.9 and iPhoto is 5.0.4 Any help or suggestions??
