We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.
It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.
Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...
This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.
If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".
Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

I use ML with a Photon - and it has problems, but I have no idea whether it is Photon related. It works fine initially then Musolomo crashes and I have ot restart Live to get it going again. V frustrating as I love what ML does when it works.

I don't know the Photon but as long as it has CoreAudio drivers (or is compatible with Apple standard Audio USB drivers), and its Audio inputs are compatible with your micro level, it should be OK.
Unfortunately, we can't guaranty it will work fine since we don't have that hardware.

Ah I actually have a follow up question.
In the event that this Photon does not work with Musolomo, is there a component out there that I can just plug my mic straight into (xlr or TRS) and have it go straight into midi to 'Lomo?
I'm actually looking at several of these controllers similar to the Photon, and only one so far, the M-Audio Ozone, that has what I think I need (XLR mic input with built-in preamp and phantom power) for 'Lomo.
So I'm wondering if there is a product on the market that is JUST the mic input feature.
Help, please. haha

Hey.
So this may sound really dumb, but I must admit I'm not terribly learned in the department of midi. However, I'm looking into buying an Alesis Photon midi controller, and I'm wanting to know if audio in feature of the controller is compatible with Musolomo.
Thats a link to the product i'm considering buying, and I'd hate to get it without knowing that it can in fact loop my audio that i'm bringing into with an external microphone.
