Hi there Bastian,
Sorry about the slow reply.
We actually can't seem to replicate your problem here - it's all working fine as far as we can tell, when changing - effects retaining settings.. are you still experiencing this?
Also you may not know, but Rax is no longer for sale.
Sorry to be the bearer of double bad news.
Bastian
Hi,
at the moment I'm trying RAX, and I like it very much so far. However, there seems to be problems with the GUIs for the Apple AUs:
1) For the delay effect, it loses the setting for the time parameter (first parameter) if you choose another effect rack. For example, if the effect is in effect rack #1 and delay time is set to some value >0, going to the master effect rack will reset the delay time to 0, effectively turning off the delay.
2) Sometimes, the additional editing variants like directly clicking in the curve display of the parametric equalizer or the measure-based setting for the delay stop working. It again seems to have something to do with switching effect racks, or activating other programs, but I'm not sure what actually triggers it.
Despite this, it's a great program, and I'll probably buy it. Thanks.
