Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Kramy We will be adding a "Full Size" preference in Comic Touch 1.1 -

Full size keeps the image original size - i.e. the size of the Comic will be dependent on the original image size and the amount of zoom.

The next release is coming to an App Store near you soon!
John Me too. I love the idea of the app, but image shrinking is a real deal-breaker.

I don't think it's a workflow thing, either, just that the iphone camera is poor, and I want the best picture I can. It's emotional, not intellectual, because even if the original is still there, it's the the modified one I'll end up sending to friends.

Put another way, image shrinking makes editing feel like a cul-de-sac, rather than a road. I'd be closing off future possibilities rather than leaving them open. And it's that feeling I don't want.
keith Thanks Pete,

For you feedback — we're definitely looking into supporting fullsize images.

Photini — Comic Life creates copies and won't affect your original images.

Hope that helps!

Pete I agree! My only hesitation in buying this application is that it shrinks the images. I would like to be able to take a picture and quickly add a caption or thought bubble and email it to a friend. But I want it to be the size that I started with, not a low quality version of it. I was about to buy this until I found out that it shrinks the pictures. I hope you can make this work because it looks like a cool app!
Photini If I bought this I would use it primarily for editing and then emailing on the go. I too would like to see the image size problem resolved before purchase.

As an aside, as edited photos saved into the Camera Roll as a copy of the original or does it replace the original?
keith Thanks Arthur for that — we're looking into it to see what we can do. No timeline for that though.

If anyone else would like to describe how they typically use Comic Touch, then that would be great.
