It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.
Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...
This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.
If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Well I downloaded the 1.0.2.1 version. The program asked me if I wanted to install it and when I clicked "yes" it crashed. Since then I have been unable to open the application at all.
Fortunately I always get this report after the crash, which maybe someone will find useful:

It depends on your system specs. 1.0.3 is much more stable - so hopefully you don't have the same issues with any new comics.

Yeah, it still crashes with the beta as well as the latest 1.0.2.1
And oddly, it doesn't even give a crash report.
Just disappears sometimes.

This used to happen with Comic Life, too, when there were over 12 or so pages...

Well, I downloaded the demo - and it still didn't open. But I made a dupe of it, and it did. Odd.
I've had some power problem - maybe it got zapped while open. Don't know...
I'll be back if things get weird.

Are you using the recently released beta or 1.0.2.1? If you're not using the beta, could you download it to see if your file also crashes with it?

Halo,
I am trying to opening one of my Comic Magiq files - it starts to open then immediately crashes.
Not much more to add than that, except other files still open fine!
