We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.
It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.
Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...
This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.
If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".
Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Missed a bit. I'm not using a VST instrument, but VSTHost is the only way I will be able to use Wormhole to transport the audio over the network without buying some expensive piece of VST compatible software that I don't know how to use.

I just want to have the same sound come out of my laptop, over a network not a physical audio cable, as well as my main machine. As for the virtual audio cables, I don't know. I'm somebody trying to build a house extension without knowing what materials to use, how to use them and without any experience. But I know what I want it to look like.

Questions : why do you want to use Virtual Audio Cable ?
I didn't see what it is for by reading what you want to do.
How do you connect your plugins inside VSTHost ?
What is the source of sound : a VST instrument ?
Ivan
Thanks, pretty pressed for time tbh and already started trying other things.
Example of what I'm trying to do...
Desktop machine
Laptop machine
The desktop is a normal setup, sound coming out the speakers output of the sound card, microphone input going in the mic input of the sound card.
The laptop has various things I want to use the audio (real-time, wee bit of delay ok) from the desktop on, but I want the desktop to work as normal.
I want the laptop to be able to hear the sound from the desktop as if I had connected a audio cable (male both ends) from the desktop speakers out connection to the laptop line in / mic in connection, but I want the desktop to continue to push that same sound out through the speakers.
I've had a look at software audio cables (Virtual Audio Cable) and WormHole, and figure that they should (together with VSTHost) form the core components of getting something like this working.
The main problem is, I can't figure out how to put it all together.
Anyway, I don't expect many people to be able to help me out properly, but a few good solid pointers would be good as I'm flapping in the wind at the minute

hi there Ivan,
apologies for the slow reply...
how exactly have you got wormhole and your VST host setup?
and how have you wired you 'player' into wormhole.
