Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Mike Shapiro Most of Logic's plugins were developed before the AU standard existed. Since then, Apple has been slowly increasing the number of AU plugins with each successive version of Logic.
Bart Tx Airy. Now I understand why it was not working.

Well it's a major disapointment since I thought about using some of this fine Logic instruments live.

The more I think over it, I find it strange that Apple who has pushed everybody in the industry to adopt the AU standards, have not used it for their proper instruments or maybe they did but sealed the access to it. Another case of Apple-paranoia?

airy Logic built-in Instruments and Effects are not AudioUnits.

That's why no other audio software can use them.



I am afraid we can't do anything to solve that...

I've downloaded the demo of Rax to test it but I can not insert any of the Logic audio instruments I have (Pro 7.1 version). With Spetrasonics Atmoshere I don't have no problem. The Logic instruments do not show up as a possibility.

Is this (apart from only 1 instrument at a time) the limitation of the test version or do I need to help Rax in finding the Logic AU instruments?

I did sent a request to Rax support but no reply at all.

Thanks for any tip helping me further!
