Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Strangley, there are a few ways that MIDI not off msgs are handled - with a MIDI NOTE OFF and also a MIDI NOTE Velocity = 0.



Perhaps there is something strange there - we haven't seen this problem before.
Alx I used midi monitor, and showed

no duplicate messages. But interestingly I switched my Roland A-37 controller to Roland PC-200 and

RAX started to work like a charm.

Keith Hmm, this is very strange. Perhaps, somehow, duplicate midi msgs are being sent to Rax?



Perhaps you could use a utility like midi monitor http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/9950




to watch incoming msgs and find out if they are being cut off or duplicated?



Have you used the identical setup with any other virtual synth host?
Alx I downloaded RAX 2.02 I get midi notes being cutoff when playing at a moderate speed, one note at a time works but mostly I get a note hanging so I have to hit Panic to stop it. I am using M-Audio 1x1 uno midi interface for test purpose, my controller is Roland A-37. I have tried playing the Apple Quicktime synth + the new demo Minimoog synth. They both have same problem. I am using Intel MacBook 2.0Ghz 2GB Ram, I have tried setting Buffer on 128 - 512, but still the same problem.
