We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.
It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.
Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...
This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.
If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".
Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.
Comic Life is great for sharing those funny little moments from school, in the office, or while on worldwide progressive-rock-legends tours.
Robert Fripp and Tony Levin have been sharing the day-to-day stories of touring within one of the most influential prog rock bands - on King Crimson’s 40th Anniversary Tour.
Ever wished you had the fun of Comic Life handy at all times? Ever been out at a party, family gathering or on public transport and wished you could add your 'comic touch' to a photo? Now you can!
We're giggling with glee to announce Comic Touch for iPhone and iPod Touch. Add various speech balloons and captions to your photos. Choose a fun special effect to warp and bend your family and friends, then email the results to them!

Hi,
Checking your site made the problem clear. There's some bogus HTML tags in the index.html. We'll post an update later today.
Best,
Robert.

Hey Robert,
I've just sent an email from your Plasq page. I'll take a reply on the forum or at my home email. Thanks for looking into this.
Robert
Gibby,
Please post a link (or email us a link if you'd prefer) so we can take a look. Cris has a PC so can check out that angle. Something's definitely not right...
Best,
Robert.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the response, but it has left me baffled. A system search did not find .mac so I looked in my sites folder on my idisc. I found the file, but as it had a later date than the one provided in your update I decided to leave it until your scheduled update to .01. Well .01 has been loaded onto my box, a new page built and uploaded to my /comic page. I reached my PC person & they were unable to read the new page nor find any improvement in loading the others. I now notice clipping on the tops of the page holders on my comic site.
I had altered the name of the site using the menu in CL but don't see why that wouuld make a dif.
I could provide the URL if you'd like, or any other info to calm this problem. For now, I'll have to cool my jets!
If you download this unzip it and put it in your .Mac /Sites/comiclife folder (replacing the bad one you'll find there) your PC visitors should be able to view your comics again. If you want to make sure you don't upload the bad one again then also put it inside your Comic Life application package in the Resource folder (replacing the one there too).
Sorry for the delay in responding we've been trying to get 1.0.1 out for today. Unfortunately we ran into a couple of last minute issues that caused us to postpone it till tomorrow.
