Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

admin Alistair,

Yes, that is perfectly legal. We allow the use of Comic Life by the same user on a Powerbook and a Desktop machine.

ajks Hi Welles,

Just today I took my laptop to work and ran DiskWarrior on it. Nothing out of the ordinary was flagged but I'm just a bit bummed I lost my stickies.

The Poser problem was on my work G5.

I've just realised - I'm using CL on my laptop at home and my G5 at work. Is this legal? Does the license cover this? I know it does for QuarkXpress.

Anyone else noticed any other strange bahaviour?

Hi Alistair,

I think possibly something else is happening to your system. Have you run anything like DiskWarrior to check for directory problems? Do you do regular maintenance routines, cleaning out the caches, rebuilding Permissions etc.?

I wondered simply because I have no problem with Poser, Comic Life, and Stickies. In fact I have an intensely modified system (10.3.9) including nine APE modules. Right now I'm running Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, Strata 3D, Poser 5, Comic Life, Safari, Mail (and Spamfire Pro),along with another half a dozen lesser apps spread out over a dozen desktops.

During the relatively brief time (but intense) I've been using CL there has been no system or application instability.

Good Luck!

clampin Ok, i will test... feedback later....
Robert Hmmm, looks odd. But I see that you're using APE - this is always a red flag for crashing issues as APE uses undocumented features of OS X and can cause stability problems.

Would you mind disabling APE and seeing if the problem persists?

Thanks,

Robert.
