Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Updates are free for all registered users.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

No problem, worked as a Localization Engineer for many a year. I know the fun of bug fixing



It was just a save.



After I couldn't save i did try opening another new comic and dragging some of the pages into that.



It was in the standard documents folder in Vista.



(C:UsersmynameDocuments)

Were you doing a new save as, or just a save?



Had you moved the file between launches of Comic Life?



What does the path look like for the location of where you tried to save the document?

I am very sorry for the loss of the document.

Unfortunately, these types of things happen with betas. We would like to know if you were using b1 or b2...

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Just tried to save a comic i'd been on for days. When it said "could not save file", so i tried saving somewhere else. I got the same error and then it crashed. When i tried to open the file again it wasn't there! I've searched the entire computer but the .comicdoc file has gone :'(



Anyone had this problem or know a way of recovering it?
