Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Kramy Hello everyone.

Apologies for the delay in responding.

We think we might have a fix for it.

Could you please email: forums (at) plasq dot com and let us know you are having this issue.

Very sorry for the inconvenience.
Onidnelo Ok. Got advise elsewhere. Plasq have no fault here. It seems the program malfunction is caused by two possible things:

1 - a bad download;

2 - any kind of patch applied to the app.

Try reinstalling the program and see if it helps.

I'm trashing Comic Life after the end of the trial, but is a good program.

Only I'm used to another app.
Onidnelo The program was created originally for the Mac, Paul. That's why I mentioned a Windows version issue. It seems this company here is not used to write Windows apps. I'm on XPSP2 too.

I've put a note on the DAZ3D Forums, where Comic Life has been hyped lately, to see if someone know a solution.

It seems Plaq doen't read this Forum here.

Paul Im running XP SP2 - pretty standard windows version!!

any help plasq???
Onidnelo

Same problem here. Must be a Windows version issue.
Paul Hi,

I installed comic life today and its a fantastic program, everything works fine except 1 thing ... lettering!!!

i can drag frames, balloons, captions, photos etc to my work area but when i drag lettering in, nothing happens, ive tried several times and it just wont put a lettering item in my window or display the lettering options dialog box!!!

this is obviously a hassle as i cant create titles for my comics!!

any advice on a resolution??

cheers
