Cranium Comics has recently launched their first four color comic, Brawn #1.
"I used Comic Life on my Mac exclusively to lay out the storyboards, then later when I created and colored all 24 pages of the issue," recounted Anthony Rezendes, the owner of Cranium Comics and co-creator of Brawn.
The comic 'Brawn' focuses on a dockworker named Sam Ross who was reborn as the hero "Brawn" after he was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident.
"Being an illustrator, it saved me quite a bit of time from having to lay all the text bubbles out manually. It made the process of actually creating the comic that much more enjoyable," Mr. Rezendes added.
We think this comic is great! So check out 'Brawn' on the Cranium Comics site or read the first 5 pages on our Comic Life gallery.

That's a great idea... I'm impressed!
(Wish I could have thought it )
I'll give it a go when I get home, A work-around is fine for now... (although it'll be good when the kids can print without having to ask me for help!)
I'm happy to be patient when it comes to Plasq software... And Doozla is worth the money even just for the voices when you pick a colour!
Bright Green!....

Doozla's vector based core to the RESCUE!
I'm not sure if this has been posted here before, but I just decided to tackle this to see if I could find a workaround. Looks like due to Doozla doozles looking good at any size and OS X's built-in abilities, a workaround is available that's not too painless!
1) Click on the print icon
2) Click the "Preview" button
3) Use the "Selection" tool in Preview to draw a rectangle around the artwork (This will be a lot easier if the artwork goes all the way to the edges, but even if it doesn't, just come as close to the artwork as you can)
4) Do command-K to crop
5) Choose File -> Print
Now, you'll see a print dialog box with a few more options AND, if you turn on "Automatically rotate each page" and "Scale each page to fit paper" the area you cropped will be aligned on the page so that it fills from edge to edge either vertically or horizontally.
Now, if you were using some OTHER drawing app, enlarging the image might cause problems. BUT, since everything drawn in Doozla is a vector, stretching the image in this way so that it fills the page still shows only nice smooth edges. The way that nature intended!

Hi, I hope I'm missing something and there's a way to get to some more options... (We LOVE Doozla by the way!)
I bought Doozla a bit earlier than normal as I thought the reason I wasn't able to print landscape, or stretch to fill a landscape page was due to the trial!
Kids Love Doozla, but are a bit miffed when they print and get a tiny picture in the middle of a portrait page!
Is there a manual that explains how to get round this, or is there a way to do it/ will it be fixed in a future version?
