Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

There's no way currently to take a JPG or similar and turn in into a Doozla color-in, but we'll look into that.



If you have any other art requests (more animals, historical things etc) than we can head in that direction for future art updates.

mister-g Is there any way of using a third party app to convert a jpg for instance into something that Doozla can use in the colouring in section? Or is it your own special format?

Kramy This is not currently possible with Doozla coloring in -- but is possible with backgrounds.



The reason being that the artwork needs to be vector-based, so that Doozla knows where and what needs to be filled in.



For backgrounds, you can use Skitch <http://plasq.com/skitch> -- drop in an image into Skitch, then drag it out of Skitch as a .skitch file and place it into the Pictures/Doozla/Backgrounds folder - and you can then open that in Doozla.



We hope to make this easier in the future!

Chris A. This would be a great feature! I'd love to be able to import PDFs of coloring pages we've found on kids sites or scans of our own we've made of coloring pages to color in Doozla.
s.duckus I am thinking about purchasing this product for our daughters. I am wondering if it will support scanning and coloring of their drawings.
