Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

keith Hi Russel,

Those images didn't insert properly. Can I ask what process you used to attach them?

We're looking to improve this on our forums

In the meantime, you may like to use http://plasq.com/skitch to share your images -- it's very easy!

Keith
Russel To help fix the problem in an update here is a picture of what I didn't like:

Here is what happenned after I changed the bleed margins to 0 pt.

Not sure if pictures will appear properly. I can't see them in the preview.
Russel I solved the problem. I turned off the bleed margins (set to 0 pt) and the background theme became viewable again.

Once I am ready for my final export I will turn the bleed margins back on (set to the default 9 pt) and then export.
keith Hi Russel,

I'm not quite understanding what it is you want to do. But if you want to work with layouts while not seeing any 'white', that is possible.

Hope that helps!

Russel I have an interface problem that I feel is fairly serious.

I investigated places to print the comic and comixpress that you suggested on your website looks very good.

My concern is when selecting the custom layout size "Zine 8 x 10.5" the background of the page is "whited" out as shown in KeynoteKen's screenshot above.

Any suggestions as to how I can correct this in my workflow as I want to position items appropriately using background colours/images etc but I cannot view them when working in the layout I will print in.

Thank you.
Buzz Hays And thanks to KeynoteKen for the visual aid!
