Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

Logitech webcam as audio in to RAX? - 2005/09/25 23:22 I have the unregistered version of RAX and I am having trouble getting live audio into RAX. I have a Logitech QuickCam plugged in via USB, and I have its audio selected in OS X's Sound prefs pane (Sound -> Input -> Unknown USB Audio Device) and can see that the mic is live because the input level meter in the control panel jumps.

In RAX, I have selected Source -> Audio -> Audio M1 and sure enough I get an input channel called Audio M1, but I don't know what to do next. When I ctrl-click on it, the only option I get in the context menu is "No Input". I am really trying to use the mic in the QuickCam so I can sample to Musolomo. I am using an M-Qudio Keystation 49e as my MIDI controller.

Is it possible to do what I want? Will this setup only work with the registered version (which I will buy if I can get this setup to work)?

Thanks!

Ken

Re:Logitech webcam as audio in to RAX? - 2006/02/20 20:13 Hi there Ken,

The version of Rax you downloaded is identical to the paid version. So lets see if we can get you going!

Make sure in the Rax preferences, you have the right audio input.

now. look at this pic:

http://www.songcarver.com/rax.jpg

1. select the FX button, and choose plasq>musolomo
2. open the musolomo interface
3. you might want to switch monitoring to off
4. make sure the audio input if selected in the track (right click)
5. choose the midi input you want to control musolomo with.

consult the musolomo manual if you need helo with learning to assign control info etc.

hope this helps
what were you planning to do with the setup?
