Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 It's doing nothing... - 2008/09/26 00:45 I'm not sure why Wormhole2 is doing absolutely nothing on my machine. Is there something I'm missing? I've opened the UDP ports 48100-48200 (and rechecked this like a thousand times). I've even tried turning my firewalls off altogether to make sure that's not the problem. I'm trying to connect Abelton Live with Max/Msp. I open the plugin in Live, type "test" in the channel box, click the "start" button and play some audio. The "audio in" led lights up with the music. I go to Max, start up Wormhole2 there, but it doesn't show that "test" is an available channel. The instance in Live doesn't indicate that it's trying to send anything, and the instance in Max doesn't show that there is anything being sent. Is there something I'm missing?

Everything you do sounds totally correct. Hmmm... hard to say what can be wrong. Since Wormhole instances are not "seeing" each other, it really sounds as a network problem.

Can you move files etc. between machines? In other words - are you absolutely certain that network is OK?

 Re:It's doing nothing... - 2008/10/01 23:39 Thanks for the reply! I know it's difficult to assess a problem like this without the proverbial, "It depends on your system," but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something completely Noobish.

I'm only using wormhole on one computer for inter-application audio, so I can't really check to see if I can move files. But, after trying like nuts to get this thing working (on my PC at home), I decided to try running it on my iMac at work, and it still did nothing.

But you've confirmed my suspicions that something with the network is not working properly. Problem is, opening the firewall ports is pretty much the extent of my networking knowledge, haha. I'll keep plugging away...
