Thank you very much for your help testing the future!

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Re:When? - 2007/05/25 18:31 Hey cyf,

You are right - we totally should have been more open. It's tricky, as even internally, we are hoping we can get it out 'any week now...'

We certainly haven't done this on purpose - would have been great to have it out in February!

The mySkitch aspect of Skitch is key to how we see the product and this is the major hold up. The Skitch desktop application itself has certainly been at releasable levels since february.

When creating a webservice, it opens up a can of worms. A Terms of Services needs to be drafted and making sure the servers are stable for the data that will be stored there.

We did the private beta to start getting initial feedback and make sure the application and systems were solid with a small amount of people. This private beta period was never meant last this long though.

Thanks to your well thought out message, We are going to work on making a statement for the site and send out an email to the people who have signed up (which btw, certainly was not a bait tactic - just an unfortunate blunder(s) on our behalf getting Skitch + mySkitch out)

I hope you understand but I can see how it would be getting tiresome.

It has certainly been a learning experience for us

I just keep seeing posts everywhere on Flickr, Twitter, etc. where people are going on and on... and it's driving me crazy that I can't try it!
