This is great! - 2007/05/15 00:17
Thank you! I am very excited about the release of a Windows version of Comic Life. I am in education and I have used the Mac version of Comic Life at my previous school. 2 years ago a co-worker and I presented at a tech conference introducing educators to Comic Life. This past year, I moved to a school that strictly uses Windows. So my partner and I created a presentation informing teachers of different types of comic software available to Window users. There are several programs out there but my overall favorite is still Comic Life. I think my students will be very excited when the final product is released. I hope I am able to convince administration to purchase a license!
Here are a few problems that I found, if they have previously been addressed I apologize.
When I went to search for pictures, I used Explorer. I selected drive C, and was unable to go back to the desktop or select anything else that was previously present.
Someone else mentioned that it would be nice to view other drives. I am in agreement. We are considering having students use thumb drives to store all their information on. However, we currently use Novell, so it would be great if the students could select their personal drives.
Then I used the photo link to view the images My Photos. If I had folders within folders, the sub folders with the jpeg images did not show up. If I had pictures inside one folder I could view and select those photos.
Thanks, I am impressed!
