'Chocolate & Chat: Writing for Teens and Young Adults’ tour!

 Windows Network Install - 2008/03/05 10:51 Hi, I was wondering if there was a way that ComicLife could be setup for a network install using group policy or is there an easier way of handling registration across all the machines we have on our school network. We have bought an 1000 seat Education licence for both Mac and Windows.

 Re:Windows Network Install - 2008/03/28 22:30 Install it on a test machine, and you can get the registry keys that hold the serials and stuff.

From that, you can either create/modify the MSI installer to insert that key into the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE hive as part of the install, or, if you're doing the install some other way, then merge a .REG or execute a {VBS/JS/bash/perl} script which creates and populates the registry key.

The location you want to copy is at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/plasq/Licences/Comic Life
