Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 Too many processes - 2008/06/05 05:17 I have tried several times to download CL Magiq to my iMac (Leopard 10.5.3, HD 166 GB free, Memory 1 GB, Intel Core 2 Duo). The Download progress bar seems to move satisfactorily but my Downloads Folder ends up with a dmg that says 'failed to mount' for one of two reasons: 'no child processes' or 'too many process'. Can anyone explain these reasons and suggest a solution? (I have paid up – honest!).

That's very strange. We're using a very standard download/ hosting setup -- are you having these problems with any other application?

Perhaps try setting up another user account and downloading from there? The demo and the paid version are the same file -- your serial number will unlock it. Just grab Comic Life Magiq from here:

Thanks for that. I don't have troubles with any other applications. I tried another download on my usual account and again got a 'mounting failed' message in the Download window. So I fiddled around to see about a new user account (terrifying thought to this aged pensioner), Then I clicked on the .dmg icon on my Desktop and all went as described. So . . . . I have Magiq on the 5th attempt, praise be!

Most of my failed attempts were on Safari but I had tried Firefox and IE. The final successful attempt was on Safari.

I tend to give my computers the heeby jeebies and no I don't understand either but thanks.
