This 1.0.2c update fixes a serious save issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

'Chocolate & Chat: Writing for Teens and Young Adults’ tour!
plasq is proud to announce that we are sponsoring authors James McCann and kc dyer on their 'Chocolate & Chat: Writing for Teens and Young Adults’ tour.

 Interface Change? - 2008/07/24 01:02 Are there any plans to update the CL Magiq UI at some point in the near future?

Part of the problem is that it really doesn't look like a Mac app and doesn't gel with the rest of the system.

With all elements showing, the interface is too crowded and the dark palette and lack of color variation makes it hard to distinguish separate elements and buttons.

Thanks for the feedback. We constantly update and tweak interface elements where we think we can improve things - so we appreciate your specific comments on the darker look and the dense layout.

We'd love to know what you all think about the visual 'look' of Comic Life Magiq. Please do let us know!

You've GOT to be kidding....

The color schema needs little tweaking. It looks like a Cocoa app. Now certain areas are a little too close to each other, granted, but there is more than enough to distinguish things so that you at least know where to look for them...

Time for better bifocals, friend.

We do understand that what's 'easily visible' to some, is not for all, and are appreciate everyone's feedback.

The muted, darker tones was chosen to let the images and colors on the page stand out more. Apple's 'pro' applications tend to use this color scheme. But, we understand how contrast or lack therof can cause big problems with text. We're definitely listening so please do let us know your thoughts.

Anyway, I do like the color scheme, it allows me to focus on the lettering and art a bit better.

What I miss from Comic Life is the ability to name styles and such. Is there any way that the "Your Words Here..." text can be replaced by the style's name?

Naming Styles and the like is already on our list of things to do, so hopefully you'll see that functionality in a future version of Comic Life Magiq.

I don't think we'd want to replace the 'Your Words Here' text as it's a good guide for beginners, but appreciate the innovative thinking!
