Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 Vector line smoothing, ala Skitch - 2008/05/10 23:45 Hi, guys. Great job with Magiq. I'm going through the features right now to think of ways in which I can use the software.

Question: is there a way to adjust the vector line smoothing factor used with the paint tools? When I use Skitch, there's a fair and helpful amount of line smoothing placed on the drawing tools which delivers a smooth, elegant line, but in Magiq the line quality appears jagged (unsmoothed). Any way to adjust the smoothing value?

 Re:Vector line smoothing, ala Skitch - 2008/05/11 00:48 The tools under the "Paint" tab are bitmap based I believe. As a result, it doesn't offer the same kind of auto-smoothing that Skitch (and Doozla) is known for.

So, I'll still use Skitch for those types of lines, but it would be cool to see that in some future version!

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, KeynoteKen is correct - the paint tool is currently bitmap based only, so we don't have any smoothing options available yet -- but we'll definitely look into that in future.

Please also note - you should change your username to not be your email address -- otherwise 'bots' which search the web for people to s p a m will find it.
