Rallly for a Pro Version (Windows) - 2009/06/22 19:14 Unfortunately, I have Windows..... and there aren't many good comic creation softwares so I use Comic Life Deluxe. CL is the best by far for people who just want to create comics for fun. However, there needs to be more functionality for folks (like me) who want to use this to professionally layout & letter comics for publishing. I honestly can't afford to go out & buy a MAC just to get a version of CL with better options. As it is now, I had to revert to drawing & lettering my balloons in Paintshop because the results in CL as it stands are pretty unprofessional.

Things to consider for a Windows Pro Version:
1. The ability to curve balloon tails. So many times the tails curve horribly or not at all. For professional results one must be able to manipulate the tail around existing art & curve it to point toward the character's mouth.
2. Transparency options for balloons, caption boxes, panels, & SFX lettering.
3. The ability to export to flash formats.
4. Not absolutely necessary, but it would be nice to be able to draw in CL.
5. More point options for panel design. 8 points just isn't enough to create unique panels.
6. A way to import our own balloons, caption boxes, panels, & lettering.

Did I forget a good option?
Anyone else want a Pro Version? Let Plasq know & maybe us lowly Windows users will get more Comic Life to love.
