piping audio from interfaces plugin - 2006/12/12 21:45
Dear Plasq,
here's a cool idea (at least, I think):
let's say my main workhorse I/O interface is configured for use in my DAW. But I have another USB audio device I'd like to use once in a while (in my case, PodXT Live with CoreAudio drivers).
Wouldn't it be great if I could just add a plugin to a track in my DAW, and assign it to a physical input on any other CoreAudio device, allowing me to stream input from other HW devices directly into my DAW?
I think it would open up a whole new world of I/O options and flexibility.
I've searched around quite a bit, and the closest hit I've found is wormhole (still very different though).
any thoughts?
