Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

Re:page tranperant? - 2006/02/27 22:53 Hey DJ Big Phil

You are in luck! Comic Life can do exactly what you need.

1 - In the details tab for a page, click the fill colour button, and wind down the Opacity slider to 0%.
2 - In File menu >Page Format, click the Paper colour button and do the same, wind down the Opacity slider to 0%.
3 - Export your creation as a .png or .tiff (.png is generally the better choice)

This works for me in photoshop, (eg, I did it for the 'lettering' drag object), but have not tried it with a video app, so I would love to hear your feedback on this.

Would love to see any creations you make with Comic Life in your vids also.

BTW, this you? http://www.myspace.com/djbigphill
Had a hard time trying to find any of your tracks online. Your livetype site seemed to be down.

The cratediggin' doco looks like it will be great.

Re:page tranperant? - 2006/03/02 09:30 Great Tip! I had figured out a workaround using another app, but free is always better

I've posted what I did to http://www.makentosh.com

Thanks for such a great program and until you get copying to work for other apps, this is a workable workaround!
