Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 Images Kept inside files - 2005/05/03 05:17 Comic Life, is really cool... I love it!

I have a few comments that i want to share... but i will start with only one for now.

When placing images from iPhoto, i noticed that all of them are dupliacted and place inside the package of the Comic Life saved document itself... That nothing bad in itself...

What i feel is a bug is that if i decide i remove one of the already placed images, what i have found is that even if that image is no longer in my comic book, it is still in that saved files package.

The book i’m doing right now have 13 pages, and 55 images. But when i look inside the file package, i get 70 images, 15 of them have been put away after having put in the layout itself.

Theses iages shall not be in that package anymore if they are not in the final layout.

Agreed - it is planned to purge unused images when the comic is reopened - sort of like iMovies unused clips.

Why when reopened? Why not when closed? make more sense for me...
