Romance Comic, Published! - 2009/02/06 10:29
Today I received my author copies of a comic that I illustrated using DAZ Studio and Comic Life.
It's slowly sinking in that I've been published! Yes, LBR Press is a very small publisher, but it is a publisher nonetheless.
The comic is called Sign of the Bloodletters and was written by Diana Laurence. It's a stand-alone short story set in the world of Diana's popular Bloodchained novel.

I'm just dying to hear feedback from readers about a romance comic book. It doesn't happen every day, and I'd love to know what you think! I'm giving away a free print copy of the comic book, and to enter the drawing to win it, I’m asking readers to email me their thoughts after reading Sign of the Bloodletters. The printed copy turned out beautifully. The pictures are a little darker than I expected (most of the book takes place inside a tavern at night) so I think if I get a chance to do another one I'll lighten up the images before I send them to the publisher.
