The great screen capture, annotation and sharing service has all grownup, left the plasq stables and become its own fully fledged company.
For users this change will not affect you in any noticeable way - skitch.com is still the main home and some of the same people are working on it but you'll be seeing big things coming soon!

This latest free update restores OS X 10.4 Tiger compatibility that broke with the recently released 1.5.1 update.
This update contains fixes from the previously released 1.5.1, which included several Snow Leopard compatibility fixes and a couple of other minor improvements.
As always, this update is also for the Deluxe version.
Please update from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.
Crash on launch? - 2008/12/08 12:54Any users out there that are having Skitch crash when launching it and can find this in the crash log "PrefsController appIsLoginItem" please try the solution below:
Please try removing Skitch from Login items and then restart your Mac...
Apple icon > System Preferences... > Accounts > Login Items > and uncheck Skitch. Then Restart your Mac.
Then try launching Skitch again.
If it works, you should be able to add Skitch to the login items again and it should work.
Let us know how you find it!
